Once you are on the sign up page, be cautious while selecting the location. This location will decide where your data will be hosted. For example, if United States is selected , data center which is nearest to United States will be used for creating the tenant. It is advisable to select the region where your organisation is, because you will get all the features that are offered in your region and it reduces the latency. Once the datacenter location is selected, you may not be able to change it.
